In theaters now. Officers Taylor and Zavata patrol the streets of South Central LA, an area of the city ruled by gangs and riddled with drug violence. Their perilous beat is captured on security footage and with the HD cameras of cops, criminals and victims. The movie stars Jake Gyllenhall and Michael Pena. Something whether it be the movie or the stars will be nominated for an Academy Award or Awards. Having worked several years with NCIS before retiring, the story is real and a great depiction of the tough career of a law enforcement officer. Superb acting by everyone including the "bad guys". I left the theater thanking God for the Men and Women in Blue that put up with the dredges of society for us.
