Chafing under his widowed father's control, Joe Toy invites a friend and an offbeat new kid to help him build his own house in the nearby woods. Now that the trio is finally free from parents and responsibility, the movie centers on their ability to live on their own. The movie is a well done coming of age experience. A little far fetched and slow at times but enjoyable. I would rate it a 6 and probably save it for DVD. Stars Nick Robinson, Gabriel Basso and Megan Mullally.
