This was accomplished through an unholy alliance in the 1970s between the FBI and the Irish mob which aimed to eliminate the Italian mafia. Johnny Depp gives a show - stopping performance as Whitey Bulger. There is Oscar buzz on this movie. It should be on your do not miss list. There is also a star studded cast to back up Johnny Depp. I give it a nine.
